Activity Description:

While Spring is a time of new life in the natural world right across Canada, it is also a time of festivals and celebrations. This week, we’re challenging your students to take picture(s) of the important festivals and celebrations going on in your local community! How do the people in your local neighbourhood honour and welcome spring? What kind of festivities and celebrations take place in people’s homes and in the outdoors?

Share them with the hashtag #akgtcSA11, or email your submission to akgtcanada@gmail.com  and we’ll share it for you!
