ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Welcome back from summer! Every week, the Kids’ Guide project challenges students to capture and share the uniqueness of their neighbourhood community. Participate in one week’s activity, or participate in them all!

Start the year off right with a simple photo challenge! At any time during the first week back, we’d like you to ask your students to take a picture that represents their first week back at school! Does your school have a welcoming ceremony? A new flag? Did your students arrive by bus? Do they have new bags? Please make sure that your students are the eye of the camera; composing, creating and choosing the best picture to represent this week’s challenge!
